Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that this is a very emotional moment for me. Our leader, Nitish Kumarji, has worked to build and beautify Bihar over the past two decades. He was the one who gave the Shri Shri 108 Shri Sharan Navas Baba Mahato Sahib Mela a state-level status. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conceived of a developed India and Nitish Kumarji has conceived of a prosperous Bihar; we will fulfill it at all costs. Shri Shri 108 Baba Mahato Sahib has given a message of brotherhood and mutual love in this area and surrounding areas. About 800 years ago, he emerged from our own family as a saint and gave a message of establishing harmony in society; we should adopt it.
The Chief Minister said that Baba Mahato Sahib has done the work of connecting society with religious education and ethics. Following the path shown by him, a prosperous Bihar should be established. The Chief Minister said that when Bihar becomes prosperous, the country will also develop. We are all working together to take Bihar forward. In the last 20 years, former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has provided all the basic amenities like health, education, electricity, roads, and drinking water in Bihar. It needs to be taken forward. Our government is moving forward on the path shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumarji for a developed India and a prosperous Bihar. The development line drawn by Nitish Kumarji needs to be taken forward. The government is making every possible effort to make people economically prosperous, self-reliant, and empower them by improving the standard of living of women.
The Chief Minister said that the Sahyog program campaign will start from May 19. Under this program, a two-day camp will be organized at the panchayat level every month so that the problems of the people related to the block, zone, and police station can be solved within a fixed period. He said that it is our duty to ensure that girls are educated and safe. Police will be deployed around all schools and colleges. Model schools will be established in all 534 blocks of Bihar. We want to create such model schools where children of the poor, as well as ministers and officers, can study. People think that only ministers and officers' children study in big schools.
The Chief Minister said that on April 30, 2026, I also called a meeting of all district DMs. I believe that the concept of model schools will be successful only when MPs, MLAs, and officers' children are also willing to take admission in them. The Chief Minister said that today is the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha, who gave a message of peace. Nitish Kumarji has ensured the establishment of peace along with good governance in Bihar. He has promoted development in all areas with justice. He not only gave the status of a state-level fair to the Shri Shri 108 Shri Sharan Navas Baba Mahato Sahib Mela but also got an auditorium built here. Land will be acquired for the state-level fair so that there is no difficulty in organizing it. A road will be constructed from the main road to this place so that there is convenience in coming and going. The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and the Additional Primary Health Center located here will be named after Shri Shri 108 Shri Sharan Navas Baba Mahato Sahib. Baba Mahato Sahib gave a message of prosperity, brotherhood, and peace. We should adopt these values in our lives. Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumarji had promised to provide employment and jobs to one crore people, and our government is moving forward in this direction. We will fulfill this promise in every way. We are working to increase power generation, bring more investment to Bihar, and make Bihar prosperous. Our effort is to have an investment of Rs 5 lakh crore in Bihar by November 20.
