Patna, Aug 18 (ABN) Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National Working President Tejashwi Yadav said his party will march to Lok Bhavan on August 19 against the 'insensitive and dysfunctional government' of Bihar. Mr. Yadav said that the Samrat Chaudhary government in Bihar was completely indifferent to the interests of the students. He said that a judicial inquiry into the recent shootings in Siwan and Jehanabad during student protests has not yet been ordered. The Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly asked who provided the AK-47s to the police in Siwan to control the crowd. He said that the government is trying to hide the matter by taking action against the constable, while the real culprit is the one who gave him the AK-47 and ordered him to fire. He urged the government to take immediate action against the high officials involved in the matter and disclose the incident. The working national president of RJD said that there is no exam from matric, intermediate to BPSC whose papers have not been leaked. He said that along with the Centre, now the head of the government in Bihar is also of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and in this situation the government is not in a position to make any excuses. He said that crime continues in Bihar which shows the weak administrative grip of the dual engine government in the state. He said that from Srijan to Dust Bin, scams are going on during the tenure of this government but none of the cases have reached the judicial end. The leader of the opposition in the assembly said that the government which has been in power for 21 years looks inefficient and helpless. The most important problem is that the government is not learning from its mistakes and instead of providing employment opportunities to the youth, it is trying to compromise their future. He said that instead of understanding the problems of the students, efforts are being made to silence them through force. Mr. Yadav said his party would march from the RJD party office to the Lok Bhavan on August 19, raising issues of curbing paper leaks, fair recruitment, curbing unemployment and migration, curbing crime in the state, and demanding an impartial judicial inquiry into the student firing incident. The RJD leader said that the government has already become active regarding this march and the police has already taken away several students including a student leader from Patna College. He said that the government is preparing to stop their march but their determination remains. He added that he would welcome all students, organizations, individuals and workers of other political parties affected by the policies of the government in March. He said that his party's campaign against government corruption will continue in the future.
