Patna, Sep 14: (ABN) Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that the state government is working on a long-term strategy to find a permanent solution to the flood problem in Bihar. Bihar's rivers are the basis of life and economy, hence the focus is on conservation of river systems, better water management and interlinking of rivers as needed. He said that the government's aim is to find a lasting solution to this problem while reducing the loss of lives and property caused by floods. Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the Hindi Day event and Koi Samlin organized by the Cabinet Secretariat (Raj Bhasha) Department at the auditorium of Bihar State Abhilakh Bhavan at Nehrupath on Monday. Addressing the event, he termed Hindi as a strong spokesperson of India's identity, culture, civilization and literary tradition and said that it should not be restricted to official programs or a single day. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, despite being busy with important global summits like BRICS, remained sensitive to the Bihar flood situation. A central team under the leadership of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will come to Bihar to assess the flood damage and the current situation. Samrat Chaudhary said that Hindi is among the most widely spoken languages ​​in the world and its importance is constantly increasing at the global level. The land of Bihar gave a new direction to Hindi literature through great writers like Vidyapati, Rashtrakwi Ramdhari Singh 'Dankar' and Jankavi Nagarjuna. There is a need for India to convey its language, culture and cultural identity to the world. The Chief Minister announced to organize a two-day 'Hindi Sahitya Samigam' in Bihar for the promotion of Hindi, in which leading writers, poets, creators and intellectuals from all over the country will participate. He directed the officials to complete the preparations for Samigam within the stipulated period. He appealed to the people to use Hindi more in daily life and work, saying that Hindi can be promoted globally through new technology. For the prestige and promotion of Hindi, it has to be used more and more in everyday life instead of being restricted to official functions only. He said that by promoting Hindi through new technology, it can be recognized more effectively at the global level.
The Chief Minister said this on Monday while inaugurating the Hindi Day event organized by the Cabinet Secretariat (Raj Bhasha) Department at the auditorium of Bihar State Abhilakh Bhavan at Nehru Path. He started the ceremony by lighting a candle and congratulated the people of the state on Hindi Day. Samrat Chaudhary said that Hindi is one of the most widely spoken languages ​​in the world and an important part of the socio-cultural life of India. The land of Bihar has played a significant role in the development of Hindi literature. Great writers like Vidyapati, Rashtrakwi Ramdhari Singh 'Dankar' and Jankavi Nagarjuna gave a new height to Hindi literature and gave intellectual direction to the society through their works. He also paid tribute to these great literary figures.
Samrat Chaudhary mentioned the role of former Prime Minister and late Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in promoting Hindi globally and said that by addressing the United Nations platform in Hindi, he gave international prestige to the language. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been speaking about India to the world in Hindi on various global platforms. The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for giving a message in Hindi at an important international forum like BRICS.
In the event, the Chief Minister also released the 'Raj Bhasha' magazine. Deputy Chief Minister Vijender Prasad Yadav, Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, former MLC Dr. Prem Kumar Mani, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Pratiya Amrit, SM Parvez Alam and other senior officials, intellectuals, poets, writers and students were present on this occasion.
