Patna, 14 April (ABN) - Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Tuesday that the new state government would receive his full cooperation and guidance. Chief Minister Mr. Kumar submitted his resignation to Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Syed Ata Hasnain at Lok Bhavan today. Mr. Kumar, while sharing information about his resignation from the post of Chief Minister on social media platforms, wrote that on 24 November 2005, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government was formed in the state for the first time. He said that since then, the rule of law has prevailed in the state and the NDA government has been continuously engaged in development work.
Mr. Kumar stated that the NDA government has spoken of the development of all classes from the beginning. He said that whether they are Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward, extremely backward, Dalits, or Mahadalits, the government has worked for everyone. He further said that development has been accelerated in every sector, including education, health, roads, electricity, and agriculture. Opportunities have also been explored for women and youth.
Mr. Kumar said that '7 Nishchay-3' has been formed for the next five years (2025-2030). Through this, Bihar will move forward significantly. He said that the central government is also providing full support for Bihar's development, for which he salutes Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed hope that Bihar will develop rapidly and play a key role in the country's development by becoming one of the leading states in the country.
Chief Minister Mr. Kumar said that the government has continuously worked for the better life of the people of Bihar. He stated that with the decision to leave the post of Chief Minister, he submitted his resignation to the Governor after the cabinet meeting today. He said that the new government will now look after the state's affairs and will receive his full cooperation and guidance. He expressed hope that in the future as well, the state will continue on the path of development.
