Patna, September 24: Minister and BJP leader Dilip Jaiswal has said that there should be an investigation into the conspiracy aspect of the cases in which girls were molested on the street in Bihar and its videos went viral on social media. Referring to the incidents of Jamvi and Samastipur, he said that if a person molests a girl, why would he make a video of it and make it viral? The virality of the video may lead to identification of the accused and open the way for action against him.
Jaiswal said that in both incidents, videos of molestation have surfaced, so the police should investigate the incident and find out who made the video and what was the motive behind making it viral. He expressed apprehension that such videos may be deliberately made viral to defame the government.
However, he made it clear that strict action is being taken against the accused involved in the incidents of molestation and no one guilty will be spared.
On the issue of firing on Anil Yadav, Jaiswal said that the background of the crime incidents could be different. Some incidents are related to law and order while others are the result of interpersonal conflict. He termed the incident of firing on former councilor Anil Yadav related to mutual dispute and said that the police is taking action, no culprit will be spared.
On the government and "social governance" being targeted by the opposition for the increasing incidents of crime in the state, Jaiswal said that the opposition was only playing politics through rhetoric. He claimed that the police has also taken action in the cases in which cases have been registered
