Javed Bharati It has been 33 years since the Babri Mosque was martyred on December 6, 1992. Whenever December 6 arrives, its memory is refreshed, and the conditions of the country after the martyrdom of the mosque also come to mind. Now, the thing to consider is that the Babri Mosque is no longer present, but those who politicize in its name and hurt the feelings of Muslims have not changed their habits. The politics of the Babri Mosque was done in the past, and it is still being done today. Many people were once unknown, but they gained fame in the name of the Babri Mosque, built high-rise buildings, and became car and bungalow owners, and now they live a life of luxury. However, the Babri Mosque is no longer present. Every year, December 6 arrives and passes, and sympathy is shown for the Babri Mosque, but on this December 6, no one vows to populate all the mosques in the country with their prostrations from now on. The writer saw only ten people in the Fajr prayer at the local mosque on December 6 and 7, which indicates the level of sympathy for the Babri Mosque. This year, when December 6 arrived, a different scene emerged on the soil of Bengal. A political leader, who was once a minister and a member of the assembly but had no fame, announced that they would lay the foundation stone of the Babri Mosque in Murshidabad. On December 6, he laid the foundation stone as announced. The truth is that he has no sympathy for the mosque, no interest in it, and no genuine attachment to Islam. If he had a genuine attachment to the religion, he would not have named the mosque after Babri. If he had built the mosque with the intention of propagating Islam, he would not have chosen the name Babri. The question arises that if he had laid the foundation stone of a mosque in the name of any companion or a saint, he would not have gained the fame he desired. The reason is that every day, somewhere in the world, the foundation stone of a mosque or a seminary is laid. Humayun Kabir laid the foundation stone of a mosque in the name of Babur, not because Babur was a religious leader, but to gain fame. This also proves that Humayun Kabir is working on someone else's instructions, as someone who is concerned about the propagation of Islam would not be concerned about worldly fame. In the current situation, the step taken is inappropriate and completely wrong. If the intention was to build a mosque, it should have been built in the name of the companions or saints. It has also been revealed that Humayun Kabir was once a part of the BJP and is now in Mamata Banerjee's party, the Trinamool Congress. When he announced the laying of the foundation stone of the Babri Mosque, Mamata Banerjee expelled him from the party. This is happening at a time when the assembly elections are scheduled to take place in Bengal in 2026. Before the Bihar assembly elections, the slogan "Aiye Lo Muhammad" was raised, processions were taken out, and arrests were made. Similarly, before the Bengal assembly elections, the foundation stone of the new Babri Mosque was laid. There are many foolish Muslims who follow anyone, anywhere, and in any manner, without considering the consequences. When will the Muslims in the country develop political foresight and awareness? The smaller communities and castes in the country have become politically aware and are now participating in the government, but the Muslims have not yet achieved this level of awareness. This is why they are being targeted not only by people of other religions but also by their own community members, who use them for personal gain. A clear example of this can be seen in Bengal. Humayun Kabir has laid the foundation stone of the Babri Mosque in Murshidabad, but in reality, he has laid the foundation for the BJP to come to power in Bengal in 2026. He has paved the way for the BJP, and this secret will be revealed soon. The muezzin of the mosque recites the azan from the minaret every day, but the mosque remains empty. The imam of the mosque delivers sermons on the importance of prayer, but the mosque is not filled with people. There are countless mosques that are deserted, but when someone announces the laying of the foundation stone of the Babri Mosque, people flock to it. At least they should have considered the intentions and credibility of the person making the announcement. Muslims should have thought about whether this person is worthy of their trust. The mosque that has been laid in the name of Babri can be called a "Masjid Zarar" because it has created controversy from the beginning. On one hand, the foundation stone was laid, and on the other hand, there are talks of demolishing it. Considering the entire situation, it seems that both the person who laid the foundation stone and the one who announced its demolition are in cahoots, and this is a conspiracy to provoke the sentiments of Hindus and Muslims. It is clear that the foundation stone laid by Humayun Kabir is a sign of mischief, deception, and sectarianism, and it is an attempt to use the mosque as a tool to benefit a particular party.
