Patna (ABN) On the occasion of Martyrs' Day, the sacrifices of seven freedom fighters, including Omakant Prasad Singh, Ramanand Singh, Satish Prasad Jha, Jagat Pati Kumar, Debi Padchoudhry, Rajendra Singh, and Ram Govind Singh, who were martyred on August 11, 1942, were remembered and paid tribute. A state-level function was organized at the Martyrs' Memorial Complex in Patna to pay tribute to the martyrs. At the state-level function, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary paid tribute to the martyrs by garlanding their statues. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Deputy Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav, Building Construction Minister Ashok Choudhary, Food and Consumer Protection Minister Leshi Singh, Science, Technology, and Technical Education Minister Smt. Sheela Kumari, Minister of Operation Ram Krupal Yadav, MLA Shyam Rajak, and other public representatives, including Chief Minister's Secretary Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Patna Divisional Commissioner Mr. Mayank Barbhare, DM Mr. Kandan Kumar, IPS Mr. Kartikeya K. Sharma, families of martyrs, and dignitaries paid their heartfelt tribute by garlanding the martyrs' statues. After that, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, along with ministers, MLAs, and dignitaries, went to the Shaheed Park located in the premises of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and paid tribute to all freedom fighters by offering a floral tribute in front of the Amar Jyoti. On this occasion, artists from the Information and Public Relations Department presented Bihar songs and patriotic songs.
