Are Muslims of Bengal going to be politically forgotten?

After the grand victory of Owaisi Sahab's party in Simanchal in the Bihar assembly elections, Humayun Kabir of Murshidabad is also following in the footsteps of Owaisi Sahab. He wants to raise religious issues and get all Muslim votes in his favor. Therefore, he played the religious card and announced that he would build a Babri mosque in Murshidabad. He knew well that he would be suspended from the Trinamool party for this action, and he was suspended. He was waiting for this. After that, he announced the formation of a new political party. He will try to mobilize all Muslims in Murshidabad and convince them to vote for him on religious issues so that he can become a leader of the Muslim community like Owaisi and win a few assembly seats.

Humayun Kabir's decision to build a Babri mosque in Murshidabad is not correct. If he wants to build a new mosque in Murshidabad, he can do so, which is a good thing, a charitable act, but what is the need to name the mosque Babri mosque? He set the date for the foundation stone of the mosque on December 6 and named the mosque Babri mosque. When the Supreme Court gave the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board 5 acres of land to build a Babri mosque at a suitable place in Ayodhya, we did not accept the Supreme Court's decision to build a mosque there, so how can the Muslims of Murshidabad be ready to build a Babri mosque there?

Humayun Kabir's decision is clear that he has done it for his political benefit. The Babri mosque that existed was in Ayodhya, and that mosque was martyred. The mosque that will be built in Murshidabad with the same name cannot be an alternative to the Babri mosque. The Babri mosque was a Babri mosque as long as it was in Ayodhya. The historical status of a historical mosque or building remains only as long as it is at the historical site where it was first established, but when the historical building or mosque is removed from its original site and established at another site, its historical status ends. The historical status of the Red Fort in Delhi remains as long as the Red Fort is in Delhi. The historical status of the Taj Mahal in Agra remains as long as the Taj Mahal is in Agra. Therefore, building a mosque in Murshidabad with the name Babri mosque will never make it a Babri mosque, and it will not have any historical status.

After the success of Owaisi Sahab's party, a new political thought has emerged among Muslim leaders, which is that in areas with dense Muslim populations, Muslims should vote for a Muslim leader and a Muslim party, and they should not vote for a non-Muslim leader and a non-Muslim political party, whether it is secular or non-secular. A recent example of this can be seen in Murshidabad, where Humayun Kabir has announced that he will start a new political party and will contest against the TMC in the upcoming assembly elections. Humayun Kabir himself announced that he can easily win two assembly seats, one from Regent Nagar in Murshidabad and the other from Beldeanga in Murshidabad.

In the 30-kilometer radius from Regent Nagar to Beldeanga, Humayun Kabir has a strong influence and hold. Recently, in the foundation stone ceremony of the Babri mosque, lakhs of Bengali Muslims were seen participating in the construction work of the mosque, and it seems that he will be able to turn away Bengali Muslim voters from the TMC. However, if Humayun Kabir succeeds in his political plan, it may pave the way for the BJP to come to power, which will be a deadly step for the Muslims of Bengal. The Muslims of Murshidabad are about to make the same mistake as the people of Bihar who took Rs 10,000 and voted for the BJP, and now they are crying and regretting.

Today's Muslim leaders are taking our nation on the same path that Muslims took before independence, following Muhammad Ali Jinnah, for which the Muslims of India are still suffering. Jinnah had demanded a separate electorate from the British Raj, according to which Muslims would vote only for Muslim candidates. Today's Muslim political leaders are doing almost the same thing. We are about to make the same mistake again. We will never be successful by forming a separate political party for Muslims in India and voting in elections. We have to go with the national mainstream.

If a new mosque is built in Murshidabad and Mamata's government continues in 2026, then, God willing, Mamata's government will not stop the namazis from praying in the mosque, as she is secular and a Muslim-friendly chief minister. However, if the BJP comes to power, the responsibility of protecting the mosque will lie with the Muslims of Murshidabad. In the upcoming Bengal assembly elections, if the Trinamool goes and the BJP comes, our homes, mosques, and madrasas will not be safe. What is happening to Muslims in other states may happen here as well. People should open their eyes and see what happened in Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Maharashtra, and what is happening in Bihar.

Owaisi Sahab is watching this political drama from Hyderabad, and he must be thinking about what is happening. In the upcoming Bengal assembly elections, the votes of some Muslims in Murshidabad will be divided between Owaisi and Humayun Kabir. Humayun Kabir has announced that he will form a political alliance with Owaisi, but it remains to be seen whether Owaisi Sahab agrees to this alliance or not. Whether there is an alliance or not, the fact remains that the division of Muslim votes against a secular party will only benefit the BJP. This is something that Muslims do not understand.

Bengal has been ruled by the Left Front for 33 years and the TMC for almost 10 years, and Muslims have been living in peace and security. However, the young people of today do not know what has happened, and they are now voting against the same secular parties that provided them with peace and security. This is sheer foolishness, and it is a collective suicide. Do we want to prove that wherever Muslims live in peace, they will create chaos? Do Muslims not know how to live in peace? Does the religion of Muslims teach them to create unrest? Did the Prophet of Muslims not teach them anything good?

Finally, Humayun Kabir's announcement of laying the foundation stone of the Babri mosque in Murshidabad is based on a lie. Humayun Kabir had announced that a Maulana from Saudi Arabia would attend the foundation stone ceremony on December 6, but later it was found that the Maulana who was present was not from Saudi Arabia but from East Medinipur in West Bengal. The Maulana revealed that he was contacted by his colleague Maulana Qari Sufyan from Murshidabad, who invited him to attend a mosque foundation stone ceremony in Bhartpur, Murshidabad, and he was there to recite the Quran. Qari Sufyan was contacted by Hafiz Muhammad Yusuf from Bhartpur, but the Maulana was not told the name of the mosque or the organizer, and he did not feel the need to investigate. Later, he was told that he would be attending the Babri mosque foundation stone program organized by Humayun Kabir. When he reached Murshidabad and went on stage, he was introduced as a Maulana from Saudi Arabia, which left him stunned. The Maulana revealed all this in a video on Facebook.
