Boost to film industry in Bihar, a big opportunity for local traders

Patna: The Department of Art and Culture and the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation Limited have launched a special online portal to promote the film industry in Bihar and provide local businesses with opportunities. This special initiative has opened up new avenues for the state's artists, technical experts, and various service providers. Through this portal, local artists (actors, dancers, singers, etc.) as well as technical and professional individuals associated with film production can register themselves. This includes technical services such as camera, light, sound, drone, editing, VFX, as well as creative services like art direction, set design, costumes, and makeup. Additionally, businesses providing logistic services such as hotels, transportation, shooting locations, and catering can also join this platform. Media and promotion professionals, such as digital marketing, social media, and photography experts, as well as individuals associated with security, event management, and local coordination, can also apply. The biggest advantage of this portal is that during film shootings in Bihar, local people will get the opportunity to work directly with film production houses. This will not only create new employment opportunities but also provide local traders with new clients and increase their income sources. Interested individuals can easily register on the website. This process is completely free.
