It has been 33 years since the martyrdom of the historic Babri Masjid, and except for the hypocrites of the Muslim Ummah, this wound is still fresh in the hearts of the entire Islamic nation. After the Babri Masjid, Indian Muslims have been suffering from a sense of insecurity and mental anguish. Hindu extremist organizations, under state patronage, want to further marginalize minorities. The fanatic Hindus, who martyred the Babri Masjid, inflicted a wound on the sentiments of Indian Muslims, which has not been healed to this day. Instead, extremist Hindu groups openly boast about this inhumane crime as an achievement, and the Sangh Parivar, including the BJP, celebrates this day as 'Guru Devo' or Day of Pride.
Everyone is aware that these groups are expressing their nefarious intentions to soon martyr the Idgah Mosque in Mathura and the Alamgiri Mosque in Benares, and to build Krishna and Shiva temples in their places. Moreover, a list of 3,000 other mosques and shrines has been released across India, and it has been announced that all these places of worship will be demolished soon.
Human society has witnessed both oppressive and oppressed actions throughout history, but what a tragic and heart-wrenching spectacle it is that, despite all the evidence and witnesses, the House of Allah was martyred, and idolatry was openly started there.
Don't our eyes have tears? Have our hearts forgotten this great pain?
When Muslims were being conspired against under the pretext of NRC, the mothers, sisters, and everyone took to the streets to save their homes. But why are we waiting for the army of Ababeel in the case of the House of Allah? Why do we talk about fulfilling the Sunnah of Abdul Muttalib?
December 6, 1992, is an unforgettable day in the history of Indian Muslims. On this day, the extremist Hindu groups, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, BJP, Bajrang Dal, and Shiv Sena, demolished the centuries-old Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. Reliable sources and evidence reveal that the then-ruling Congress government, led by Prime Minister Narasimha Rao and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, were secretly involved in this conspiracy. Despite the presence of thousands of security personnel, the Babri Masjid was martyred, and all the forces and personnel became mere spectators. What was the purpose of deploying these forces? It is surprising that if the then-government was asked about the demolition of the Babri Masjid and the deployment of forces, they would have said that if the deployed forces had used force to stop the Hindus, it would have led to bloodshed, which they did not want. It is ironic that the forces and personnel were handcuffed and chained to prevent bloodshed, but the result was that the Babri Masjid was martyred. The truth is that all government officials were present to stop a few Allah-fearing Muslims.
Historical fact is that the Babri Masjid was built by Mir Baqi, the governor of Ayodhya, in 1528, during the reign of Emperor Babur. Hindu extremist organizations first targeted the Babri Masjid on March 27, 1934, in the name of cow slaughter. Then, 60 years later, on December 6, 1992, Hindu activists demolished the mosque. For the past 33 years, every year on December 6, pro-Ram Janmabhoomi organizations have been celebrating 'Shourya Devo', while Muslim organizations have been observing it as a 'Black Day'. This year, the construction of the Ram Temple at the site of the Babri Masjid was completed, and Prime Minister Modi inaugurated it.
It is clear that on June 1, 1950, the SP of Faizabad, Kora Singh, filed an affidavit in court, stating that "the Babri Masjid has been a mosque since ancient times, and Muslims have been offering prayers there. Hindus have no connection with it." The Deputy Commissioner of Faizabad also filed an affidavit on July 1, 1950, acknowledging the mosque's status as a mosque. In addition to this case, two more cases were filed in 1961, one by Ramchandra Das and the other by the Nirmohi Akhara. In response, the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board also filed cases, stating that the Babri Masjid was a mosque of Muslims, where they had been offering prayers since 1528, and it should be returned to them.
The country's independence movement saw Muslims sacrificing their lives, property, honor, and dignity. The first reward for their sacrifices, after independence, was that idols were placed in their ancient and sacred place of worship, and the pulpit and mihrab, which were once filled with prayer and prostration, were closed.
At the time of this incident, Maulana Azad said, "A question is echoing in my mind: will Muslims be accepted as a nation in the future? If the answer is yes, then the idols will be removed from the Babri Masjid. But if the answer is no, then wait, similar incidents can happen in other mosques as well."
It is narrated by Aws bin Sharheel that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever supports a tyrant, knowing that he is a tyrant, has left Islam." The Quran commands us to hold the hand of the oppressor and support the oppressed. The government of infidelity can be established, but not the government of oppression. Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O people! You recite this verse: 'O believers! Take care of your own souls. When you are on the right path, the one who is astray will not harm you.'" I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say, "When people see a tyrant oppressing and do not stop him, it is near that Allah's punishment will befall all of them."
Imam Ali (may Allah honor his face) said, "Be an enemy of the oppressor and a helper of the oppressed."
