Patna, 23 April: (ABN) A review meeting of the departments related to the Finance and Internal Resources was held today at the Chief Minister's Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Smarat Choudhary. During the review meeting, officials from the Finance Department, Commercial Tax Department, Mining Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, Transport Department, and Panchayat Raj Department presented detailed information about their respective departments' goals, revenue collection, and other achievements through presentations. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the state's financial condition is good and all departments should work in an organized manner to make it even better. New ways and possibilities should be explored to increase revenue. Financial discipline is essential in all departments, and necessary action should also be ensured in this regard. Proper use of resources is necessary. The targets set by the government for various departments must be completed within the stipulated time. He said that there has been a significant increase in the state's budget, and a lot of development work is being done in the state. The government will take all necessary steps in the public interest.
